It’s my absolute pleasure to be the new Chair of the 19^th Annual Festival of Trees. This beloved holiday event has become a tradition in our community for almost two decades. Whether it’s the social celebration of Shannex Holiday Luncheon, the glitz and glam of the Black Tie Gala or the quality time of the Homburg Festive Family Brunch, each event offers something for everyone.

As the Foundation’s largest and longest running signature event, the 19^th Annual Festival of Trees features three spectacular events, immersed in the stunning and majestic RBC Forest of Trees. Since 1991, the Festival of Trees has raised more than $3 million to support research, education and patient care for the 1 in 5 Nova Scotians living with a mental illness.

I invite you to attend this year’s Festival of Trees and support the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia in their mission to Change the Way People Think about mental illness.
